My 2020 Homeschooling Goals & a freebie

Assalaamu alaykum! Welcome back 😀

I recently shared on my instagram how I am just starting to get back into a homeschool routine for my almost 4 year old. We have taken quite the break and we are now both ready to get back into the swing of things and restart the curriculum. بإذن الله

Our own homeschool goals for 2020 in shaa Allaah. A couple are my daughter’s choice.

So this year I am trying to get as organised I can about her education to benefit the both of us إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللّٰهُ .

One thing that I need and love having is my aims clear and visible, whether it’s homeschooling, cooking or sewing up orders.

Each time I organise a gathering or party and there’s lots of food to cook, I have always written up quick recipes and list of dishes that I’m making for the day and stuck it up in the kitchen so that I can see exactly what needs doing!

Without planning ahead of time, for me it’s like being thrown into the sea 🌊 . Unsure of which way to head out and if I’m even getting anywhere.

2020 goal: Tawheed & Arabic!

It’s the basis, the foundation, the absolute essential knowledge to a successful dunya life and hereafter.

Next focus: Reading

Homeschool Goals Printable

I’ve created this poster to stick up on the wall in our class area.

It’s pretty open ended so you could write in some guidelines such as phonics or reading goals goals. Or you could write general goals such as getting outdoors more, attending monthly meetups. Joining a coop or swimming lessons.

Even behavioural ones for example listening skills, or more play.

Just jot it all down and pop it on a wall which you see frequently.

Don’t forget to have a celebration everytime you reach one of those goals! 🎉

As always, share with us your own homeschool goals and tag @mama.n.baba on Instagram! I would love to see it 😀

What’s This All About?!

Assalaamu alaykum, hey to everyone here!

I’m a stay-at-home Muslim mummy of 2 little blessings that loves sharing all about life and the things we get up to and make. Homemaking and crafting things by hand are my biggest passions! I love teaching little ones and adventuring with them outside to see and experience Allaah’s wonderful creation. The internet for me is all about being inspired and inspiring others and that’s my blog’s mission in shaa Allaah.

We homeschool, cook most meals and treats from scratch, share free resources and make loads of stuff so if that’s your kind of thing then don’t forget to follow my blog so we can share all the things. I won’t spill too many details in my first post but let me tell you, I can’t wait for you to see what’s on its way!

I would love to interact with each and every one of you so don’t be shy to leave your comments and any suggestions or questions you may have.

Thanks for visiting and see you soon!
